The California Fish and Wildlife Commission president fired back again at critics who demanded his resignation after a image surfaced of him posing with a dead mountain lion.
Hunting the creatures has been versus the law in California since 1990. Dan Richards, even so, shot the animal in Idaho, in which hunting the cats is legal.
“Do you genuinely assume a California commissioner is in fact obligated to stick to California regulations throughout these United States? Genuinely?” Richards wrote to Assemblyman Ben Hueso in a letter posted on the Sierra Club’s site.
At the very least forty legislators and Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, the former mayor of San Francisco, have referred to as on Richards to resign.
